We Love Traveling Tutus!

For the past 3 years, Megan, one of our Performance Team members, has been working as our studio ambassador for an organization called Traveling Tutus. Traveling Tutus collects and delivers dance costumes and attire (leotards, tights, shoes) to children all around the world so they can experience the joy of dance. Over the years, Traveling Tutus has been able to bring the joy of dance to children in 29 different countries, how incredible is that? To see the impact they have made, click here.

Since becoming our studio ambassador, Megan has collected over 150 costumes and raised around $1,000 for the organization through various fundraisers she puts together and her fundraising website. You may have even seen her at one of our Open Houses running a delicious bake sale or won one of her fun raffle prizes!

”Traveling Tutus has become such a big part of my life the past three years and it has given me so many opportunities. From hosting fundraisers, to holding costume drives, being an ambassador has been an absolutely amazing experience. The organization has also allowed me to become a bigger part of the dance community and it has also given me the chance to spread the love of dance to people who may not be as fortunate as myself. Dance is my passion and I hope that young girls all around the world will have the chance to put on a pair of ballet shoes and enjoy dance the way I have been able to. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to be apart of such a wonderful organization that I know will go far.”
