Melrose Middle School Auditorium  

Participation in the dress rehearsal is MANDATORY.  Any absence needs to be taken care of with Miss Amanda well in advance.  Dress rehearsal is very important and helps the kids become familiar with the stage, become comfortable being in their costume, and familiarizes them with the auditorium.  Also, it gives the younger dancers more of an idea of what to expect the day of recital.   
 

*You will be given a scheduled time to arrive the day of dress rehearsal.  Our Dress Rehearsal will not be running in the exact order of the shows, as we want to get our little ones out early.  Please do your best to not be late because we can not wait.  Dancers will be assigned to rows in the auditorium where they should sit and wait until a teacher comes to take them backstage.  It is VERY important that dancers stay in their rows with their class.  Parents can sit in the audience, no parents backstage please.  

*Dancers should arrive in their costume, ready to take the stage.  Hair should be pulled back off your dancer’s face in a neat ponytail or bun.  All classes will get just one chance to do their dance on stage.  
 

Photography and video will be allowed ONLY at the dress rehearsal.   

IMPORTANT: Dress rehearsal is closed.  It is NOT open to the public. One parent/guardian per dancer are all that will be allowed into the auditorium.
